MUSICSTAR® Drumworkz is offering FREE drum circle events throughout the year! Drum circles engage participants in a hands-on music making activity using various hand drums, such as African djembes, Latin congas, bongos, maracas, and other hand percussion instruments. Drum circles are experientially oriented, and all participants have equal input into the the outcome. Hence, Drumworkz is a strong team building activity that provides limitless opportunities for creative and personal expression.
Research has confirmed that drumming has far-reaching health benefits. It reduces stress, lower blood pressure, stimulates that immune system and improves health. In fact, a recent study shows that drum circle participation improves the number of "killer cells" that seek out and destroy cancer cells and vitally-infected cells.

Toca Delivers Modern Djembe with Antique Look The new Toca Freestyle Djembe is great instrument with a vintage flair. With the colors of Antique Gold or Silver you get the feel of an Egyptian or Indian type drum. The drum is constructed with a seamless synthetic shell and is very lightweight. All the metal hardware on the shell and the djembe head rim are in the antique finish with matching patina. Included with the 14” model is a padded bag. The bag has backpack straps and large accessory pocket for supplies. The djembe easily accepts many models of playing straps. With its light weight this allows playing in drum circles with minimal effort. While playing this drum you notice a deeper bowl construction which provides for a deep boom tone.
